Hyderabad school students climbs Mount Kilimanjaro

William Joseph, studying in class 9 in Indus International School has climbed the peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. This is the tallest free standing mountain in the world at an height of 19,336 feet.

Among 13 members of team 2 were from Hyderabad Indus International School and the remaining 11 were from Bangalore Indus International School.

"The instant I set foot on the summit, my joy knew no bounds…the dream that I had nurtured for several months and all the sweat and tears, I had put forth into this project were worth it," said William Joseph.

The exploration-in-charge Captain Mohit says, "Leaders emerge in times of challenges, chaos and confusion, they shine in times of tests and tribulations."

Another student Jayant buddole, from Hyderabad Indus International School reached the peak at a height of 16,141 feet. He says, " I am very happy with his achievement, yet I felt a sense of regret that I could not summit the peak. I had come so near. And yet was so far."
