Telangana CM KCR meets PM Narendra Modi to explain on Revenue loss

As known to everyone demonetization of higher currency had put common man into trouble. Which in turn has great effect on revenue department of the state. Telangana chief minister Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao met Prime Minister Modi to explain about the loss to the state with the decision of demonetization of higher denomination. He said that there is a fall of rs 7000 crore in the state and also many prime sectors were hit by this.

Though CM KCR supported demonetization of higher denomination, he bought to the notice of prime minister regarding the inconvenience faced by the middle and lower class people. He also reported that many of the private sectors like excise, real estate, commercial taxes, cooperative system are facing trouble.

Pradeep Chandra as New CS To Telangana Sate

As the tenure of present CS of the Telangana State Rajiv Sharma will end in this month, government has focused on search for new CS. Many of the superiors names were considered but finally Special Chief Secretary of Revenue Department Pradeep Chandra was finalized.

Pradeep Chandra belongs to 1982 batch, and played a crucial role in the formation of new districts of Telangana. With this the government has decided to appoint him as Chief Secretary of the state. But if hr is appointed he would serve the state only for a month as his tenure also lasts within a month. Even though government is planning to appoint him as CS.

From January 2017, the responsibilities are likely to assign to a senior IAS. The Government is already in search for the seniors. In which S.P Singh, Panchayath Raj chief secretary and S.K Joshi, Irrigation Special Chief secretary are in the race to be appointed as Chief Secretary of Telangana.

10th Class Exams To Be held In March 1st week

State Secondary Board (SSC) scheduled to conduct 10th class exams during 1st week of March. Previously educational board has decided to conduct the exams during 3rd week, but they have preponed them to 1st week of March 2016. Department of Exams are planning to commence the exams from 3rd, 4th or 6th, 8th of March. However, the decision to be taken by Minister Kadiyam.


Officials say that any one of the date which is proposed is to be final. That is, it is conformed that 10th class exams will start in 1st week of March 2017. 9 lakhs students are above to attend the exam. The Government of Telangana has decided to conducted the exams only in Government Schools previously. But later due to the huge strength, if necessary they would set up centers in private schools also.

Hyderabad school students climbs Mount Kilimanjaro


William Joseph, studying in class 9 in Indus International School has climbed the peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. This is the tallest free standing mountain in the world at an height of 19,336 feet.

Among 13 members of team 2 were from Hyderabad Indus International School and the remaining 11 were from Bangalore Indus International School. 

"The instant I set foot on the summit, my joy knew no bounds…the dream that I had nurtured for several months and all the sweat and tears, I had put forth into this project were worth it," said William Joseph.


The exploration-in-charge Captain Mohit says, "Leaders emerge in times of challenges, chaos and confusion, they shine in times of tests and tribulations."

Another student Jayant buddole, from Hyderabad Indus International School reached the peak at a height of 16,141 feet. He says, " I am very happy with his achievement, yet I felt a sense of regret that I could not summit the peak. I had come so near. And yet was so far."

Veer Telangana Kesari Competitios

On 27th of October Telangana Government is conducting Veer Telangana Wrestling competition under the organization of Veer Maruthi Vyayam Shala. LB Indoor Stadium has become the venue for this event. This is the 1st time the state is conducting wrestling competition. In which few of the National wrestlers like Devi Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Kiran Yadav are participating along with the local wrestlers of various districts.



The organizers are conducting the events in 50, 51, 54, 57, 60, 75, 76, 96, 125 kg. This event is being conducted for 3 days from 27th october - 29th October. And for the finals Yogeshwar Dath, Sakshi malik are the chief guest which is held on 29th of October.    

Telangana Government to conduct "KAKATIYA FESTIVAL"

Telangana Government has decided to conduct "KAKATIYA FESTIVAL" in January at warangal. It has planned to do so to spotlight the significance of the city and to increase the tourism. A meeting at Begumpet has been conducted to on the proposed event to plan how to celebrate in a grand way. Re-owned writers and poets of warangal district attended the meeting and shared their views on this event and suggested few plans keeping in view of the importance of the heritage city.


Pervaram ramulu, Chairman TSTDC, K.V Ramanachary , advisor ( Culture, tourism), Nagilla ramasastry, V.R Vidyardi, Acharya kovela Suprasannacharya Dr. Ampasayya Naveen, Marri Gopal reddy, Kundavaghula Krishna Murthy and G. Girija Manohara babu  attended the meeting.

Government to vacate Secretariat

Telangana government will vacate the secretariat in ten days with a specific goal to get it remodeled and construct new buildings . Chief Secretariat Rajiv Sharma has ordered in this impact. 9 IAS officers were allocated with the responsibility of moving the offices to different buildings in the city. 


BC welfare, Irrigation, Panchayat Raj and three more wings will be moved to their individual departmental workplaces and commissionerates and the other departments to BRK Bhavan. Chief Secretary recommended all HOD's to cooperate moving the secretariat immediately. 

It is probably going to take a year to finish the development and remodel of buildings. Government has effectively endorsed Rs 350 crore for this reason.

2 Grenade Bombs were captured by Karimnagar police in Jyothi Nagar

Explosives caused buzz in Karimnagar. 2 grenades were found in the trash in front of the supermarket in Jyothi nagar. They were found to the municipality people who were cleaning the roads and informed to the police. They reached the spot and taken the 2 grenades into their possession and thoroughly checked the surroundings of that particular area.


There is a concern among the people around regarding how that grenades has come to that place and who has brought them. What would the target of that people has become a spotlight. The police have started investigating in this case and headed to check whether this incident would be captured in any of the CCTV footage which are fixed in the houses and shops surrounding this location.

Telangana To Forge Bond With Malaysian City On Hardware Development

Having strong roots in software industry, Telangana has now eyed on developing hardware too in hyderabad. A delegation from Telangana, consisting of Sujai Karampuri, Director Electronics Sujiv Nair, CEO of TASK, and S.Suresh, Joint Director Industries has visited State of Penang, Malaysia, to forge relationships on industry promotion and skill development.

The Delegation has met Dr. P. Ramaswamy, Deputy Chief Minister of Penang to discuss and agree on cooperation between the two states. Dr. P. Ramaswamy has noted that the two states are complementary in nature with Penang having Hardware industry and workforce, while Telangana has well-entrenched IT SoftwareIindustry, and therefore a collaborative exchange of skill and Learnings would benefit both the states.
